Dementia-Friendly Open Studio: Drop-in Art Chat and Make

Join us during Dementia Action Week 2026 for a free Open Studio. Drop-in to connect with others, explore creative art-making activities at your own pace, and learn more about the NGV’s dementia-friendly programs, resources and initiatives. A variety of materials will be available, with trained NGV Educators there to guide and assist as needed. The Open Studio is a welcoming space for everyone in the community, and we especially welcome people whose lives are affected by dementia and their families, friends and carers. No art skills or experience are required to participate.
