Witness. Come together for an evening of solidarity with the Palestinian Olive Harvest this year. For any farmer, harvest is a time of prosperity and joy, but for Palestinian farmers, this event is marred with israeli settlers violence, IOF complicity and destruction of their beloved crops. Hear from our solidarity community member their first-hand experience of their time in West Bank during the Olive Harvest and witness with us the injustices indigenous Palestinians face to cultivate their own land. Ticket sales go towards raising funds for First Nations led organisations here and Faz3a - a Palestinian led non-violent action group that protects farmers in the West Bank and cultivates International Solidarity. Faz3a (فزعة) means rushing to a neighbour's aid in a moment of danger — a deep-rooted Palestinian tradition of communities coming together against an outside threat. Our MC for the night will be Ahmed Abadla. Performances by Urthboy, Byron Williams, and Jayden Kitchener-Waters. Refreshments will be provided. Newcastle Mums for Palestine will have a fundraising stall. Accessibility: Flat level gravel and concrete ground. Accessible bathroom. Please contact Melissa on 0466 266 848 with any accessibility requirements.
