Melbourne Writers’ Theatre Founded in 1982, Melbourne Writers’ Theatre exists to foster new theatre writing in Victoria, to support new, emerging and established playwrights in the creation of new plays, and to provide opportunities for the further development of their playwriting skills, interests and careers.
