Choctop Presents: Special Features

After a sell-out pilot at Defrost Festival, Special Features has been green-lit for a season order! Each week, an audience suggestion becomes an entire improvised movie - genre, twists, tropes and all - made up on the spot by our ensemble cast. Then, without leaving the theatre, we turn around and improvise the documentary about the movie: To-camera interviews with obsessed fans, washed-up cast members, and a director trying to hold it all together. It’s a movie and its own DVD special features, both invented in real time, both happening in front of you. A new story every Friday. Nothing scripted. Nothing repeated. Nothing rehearsed.
