Tomas Parrish is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores questions of justice, care, ancestry, queer lineage and familial ties. While their play “Threadbare” has garnered rave reviews, their doctoral candidacy researches care practices within music-making, and their television performance in ABC’s “In Our Blood” captivated, it is in the cabaret setting that their ethereal singing and sensitive intellect shine. Featuring jazz musician James O’Brien on piano. “An exciting new voice.” - ArtsHub Cabaret at the Court House Cabaret at the Court House is a special performance series curated by renowned jazz singer and cabaret artiste, Mama Alto. Mama Alto says: “Cabaret is a marvellous art form that combines story, song and stage presence to shape moments of human connection - from the sublime to the ridiculous and everything in between. There’s something deeply enchanting and moving about the way Tomas Parrish sings, and I know that the experience they share with our Kew Court House audiences will be an emotionally poignant and musically sumptuous evening.” Experience Kew Court House Live This performance is part of our ongoing Kew Court House Live series, running every week in the heart of Kew.
