This is a film that deserves a huge audience. It invites the viewer to a front row seat to not only the intimate detail of every day life during a genocide...but also allows the viewer to hear directly from the oppressors. One of the reasons this film is so powerful is that the Israelis that are invited to speak, see themselves as "progressive and peace makers". However, it's like listening to Germans going on with their every day life next door to Auschwitz. It's important to know that some of the footage is graphic and confronting. Which is why we are offering a debrief session after the screening. Parents: please consider your child's maturity to handle the content. Recommended age is 16+ **Out of respect for everyone else please be seated by 7pm. Doors open from 6:30pm** 100% of profits will be transferred to the producers (Mhamad Babai and David Wachsmann) to support them in making more of these truth telling films. First and foremost, I'm a humanitarian. I believe that life is sacred and that it's our moral obligation to use our privilege to speak up for the oppressed. I also believe that education and activism go hand in hand; and we need to find creative ways to connect with a broader audience. Storytelling is at the heart of what I do.
