Bukhu and Nosh forge a unique musical dialogue creating rich expansive landscapes that can at once be meditative and electrifying grounding the listener in a deep sense of history while simultaneously propelling them into the future of sound. Their music defies categorisation, drawing from Mongolian folk, world music, cinematic, experimental electronic and contemporary classical influences resulting in a sound that is uniquely their own. Exploring the aural dimensions of sounds from the Morin Khuur and harmonic overtone vocal techniques, they honour the past while embracing the future to create music that brings a contemporary take on the tradition of Mongolian bards.
