Fresh off an overseas adventure - writing and recording in London before performing at the iconic Dublin Castle in Camden, a venue that's hosted the likes of Amy Winehouse, Blur, and Arctic Monkeys, BOTH bring that energy home, ready to give Melbourne everything they've got. In the heart of Naarm's indie music scene, Harriet Wraith's ever-evolving jazz-infused soul and rock sound draws on influences like Fleetwood Mac, Ella Thompson, and Julia Jacklin. Her introspective lyrics, gritty guitar, and "haunting melodies" (Beat Magazine, 2025) weave narratives of love, loss, and self-discovery through a voice at once ethereal and commanding. Backed by her band The Witches, Wraith's live performances are, in the words of triple j's Claire Mooney, "passionate and full of drama". The Mischievous Insomniac is a four-piece band drawing on the rhythms of afrobeat, funk, jazz, ambience, and psychedelia.
