Led by ARIA Award winning saxophonist and composer Jeremy Rose, this quartet brings together some of OZ's most compelling improvisers: piano Steve Barry, bass Noel Mason and drums Alex Hirlian. The group has developed a distinctive collective voice grounded in lyrical composition, spacious improvisation and a deep sense of musical storytelling. Their music draws from Rose's critically acclaimed quartet albums; Face to Face, Within and Without, Sand Lines and Chiba, as well as performing selected favourite standards.
