This volunteer experience involves unpacking, sorting, and assembling food hampers for distribution to food-insecure individuals across Sydney. Sessions include an overview of Addi Road's impact, hands-on volunteer tasks, and a guided tour of the community space. Every week Addi Road divert over 12 tonnes of food from landfill and supports over 8,500 people through their food programs. Group size 10-15 team members, duration 3 hours, includes morning tea and access to on-site cafes. Requires casual clothing and enclosed-toe shoes; involves manual labor and lifting.
