Welcome to Nueva Era, a passionate curation of modern Tango, presented by Omnia and Friends. The night will feature a range of the best Nuevo Tango (New Tango), including works by Julián Peralta, Astor Piazzolla, Emiliano Greco and more. Omnia is a Classical, Jazz, and Tango duo, founded by Reika Suzuki-Macklin on piano and Georgia Cartlidge on violin. The ensemble has recently made their debut at Church Street Studios, and are eager to return to their Tango roots at Camelot Lounge. Reika and Georgia look forward to sharing the stage with esteemed guests and friends Daniel Enriquez (electric guitar), Liz Jones (accordion), and Harry Young (double bass). Join us for three sets of the funkiest and most experimental of the Tango genre, and be sure to bring your dancing shoes!
