Auslan tour: Proximate Cosmologies

Join us for an Auslan tour of Proximate Cosmologies and explore artworks from the Art Gallery's collection that consider the universe as undefinable. Centering Indigenous understandings and drawing on mysticism and origin stories, the exhibition brings together diverse perspectives that illuminate the relationship between spiritual and material worlds. Through shared discussion and visual interpretation, the tour offers opportunities to engage with artworks that explore themes of transformation, the unseen forces that shape our understanding of the universe, and the relationships that connect people, place and the cosmos. The program is delivered in Auslan and interpreted into English. This event is part of our Auslan tour program for visitors who are D/deaf or hard of hearing, led by invited artists and guides from the D/deaf community.
