Fresh off the release of his new single Banjo Song, Oliver Jach will be performing at The Wesley Anne on the 9th of July. Oliver has released 3 LPs as a solo artist, the latest being his 2025 release Japan. Japan was described as a ‘Quiet, expansive, indie folk shaped by ritual, vulnerability and subtle sonic detail’ (In D Music). Oliver performed a Neil Young tribute show in January, performing all the songs of After the Goldrush, and his music is inspired by the classic singer-songwriters as well as newer folk artists such as Sufjan Stevens and Adrianne Lenker. He will be supported on the night by Seagull in solo mode. Seagull, led by Chris Bolton, is a mainstay of the Melbourne music scene, renowned for his beautiful classical guitar playing and heartfelt lyrics.
