You’re invited into an hour of Belly Dancing & Rhythmic Healing space rooted in SWANA cultural movement traditions, guided by listening to the music, moving together, and reconnecting with the body as a source of wisdom. Rather than choreography or teacher-led performance, this space centres personal experience, collective rhythm, and nervous-system regulation. Movement is responsive, intuitive, and adaptable. It meets you exactly where you are on the day. Belly dance here is offered as a tool for trauma release, emotional expression, and embodied self-trust, not something to perfect or perform. This workshop is designed for beginners and welcomes anyone who is curious, open, or simply wanting to reconnect with themselves in a gentle and supportive space. Is this a dance class? Not in the traditional sense. While we explore belly dance-inspired movement, this is not about choreography or “getting the steps right.” The workshop focuses on intuitive movement, emotional expression, nervous system regulation, and reconnecting with the body through rhythm and creativity.
