Serenade & ACE present FORM, an exhibit of experimental games and artist talks, exploring the rich undercurrent of alternative process and experimentation developing outside the traditional sphere of commercial games. From micro games, to alternative controllers, to plunderludics; these works present an alternative vision for games, granting us access to a greater breadth of the medium. We’ve created FORM as a love letter to the fullness of games, while encouraging local artists to explore their creative practice and connect with local and international peers. If you're looking for a bite to eat or to crack into a beverage to start off the weekend, we will have alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks and food available for purchase within the venue. Schedule: 7pm - Doors open, food and drink available 8:30pm to 9:15 - Micro talks 11pm - Event concludes Serenade would like to acknowledge that this event takes place on the lands of the Burramadagal of the Dharug and we pay our respects to their Ancestors and Elders, past and present.

About the Host
Serenade is a collective of multidisciplinary artists who are interested in broadening the cultural touchpoints of games; bringing visibility to smaller, experimental, heartfelt and artistic games and the communities behind them. Serenade was founded in 2020 and has accumulated national recognition leading to collaborations with SXSW Sydney, Powerhouse Museum Sydney, Freeplay Festival and Static Vision Film Screening collective. Serenade has been a vital pillar of the art game scene in Gadigal/Sydney, contributing to an undercurrent of creative practice that keeps games flourishing within Australia.
