The Voice of Hind Rajab is a harrowing docudrama by Kaouther Ben Hania that reconstructs the true story of 6-year-old Hind Rajab, who was trapped for hours in a car in Gaza under Israeli fire in January 2024. Using real audio recordings and dramatic re-enactments, the film follows Red Crescent workers trying to save her. This special screening is raising funds for PCRF Australia, an Australian registered charity providing medical treatment and rehabilitation for Palestinian children in need, serving all children without discrimination. Donations will help support paediatric evacuations, specialist medical missions and the supply of medical equipment and supplies. Because every child deserves access to healthcare. With guest speaker, Dr Saira, will talk about her experience volunteering in Gaza after the screening. Join us on Sunday 19 April, at 11.00am to 2.00pm Ticket Price: $20     • $5 donated to PCRF     • $2 to a First Nations Charity     • $3 to Central Coast Friends of Palestine (event costs)

About the Host

Central Coast Friends of Palestine

Welcome to Central Coast Friends of Palestine We acknowledge the traditional bloodline custodians of the land we are on: the Guri-Ngai, Darkinoong and Awabakal peoples. We pay our respects to their Elders, past and present. This land will be forever held within their Custodianship of Country. This always was and always will be Aboriginal Land. Central Coast Friends of Palestine was born out of conversations among community members about Palestine and a shared desire for more resources and action in our area. We aim to amplify Palestinian voices and raise awareness of their struggle for freedom. We believe global awareness and support from the grassroots to the major leaders are essential for liberation.
