Recover, Rebuild, and Flourish (RRF) is a peer support program designed specifically for Muslims in Australia undergoing separation and divorce. It provides you with guidance, community, and emotional support during this challenging time. The program is delivered within an Islamic framework, incorporating faith-based healing while addressing the practical and emotional aspects of recovery. Proud partners with Centre for Muslim Wellbeing (CMW) & N ational Zakat Foundation (NZF),New Beginnings has successfully delivered three RRF programs for women and one for men since 2024 in Sydney, and following extensive community consultation, we are now bringing the program to Melbourne in 2026. Recover, Rebuild & Flourish is a safe space where caring people connect with you, build your confidence as you navigate the challenges ahead, and heal with dignity and clarity. At this six-week peer support group program, you'll receive helpful guidance and mentorship from experts and spiritual mentors to manage the chaos and useful strategies in decision-making. What Participants Will Gain:​ Emotional & practical support by a qualified counsellor or psychologist Expert-led discussions on healing, co-parenting, Shariah, legal & financial matters A safe space to share & connect led by women Wellness sessions & mentorship Session topics: Session 1: It's Over: Path to Healing Session 2: Fear, Anxiety and Anger Session 3: Co-parenting and Helping Children with Transition Session 4: The Legal and Financial Session 5: Reconciliation and Remarriage Session 6: Life as a Single Person This program is exclusively for women, and each session is led by a qualified professional and facilitator. Each session includes a dedicated Q&A segment and concludes with a wellness session. Participants will also enjoy a complimentary morning tea and receive a thoughtfully curated gift bag filled with valuable resources. Practical details: When: The first session will start on Sunday, 26 April 2026, and run weekly, concluding on Sunday, 31 May 2026. Time: 10:00 to 1:30 p.m How: Once a week, face-to-face with a facilitator and different subject matter experts Where: To be confirmed Cost: the entire program is available for a subsidised fee of $70 (+ booking fee). New Beginnings was established in response to research and community consultation, addressing a critical gap in support for Australian Muslims undergoing divorce. Launched in 2023, New Beginnings provides culturally sensitive assistance through Peer-Led Support Groups, well-being workshops and initiatives, and legal guidance sessions.
