Mürakaru is a Melbourne based trio playing experimental jazz inspired funky post rock. Mürakaru is an Estonian word which roughly translated means "noisy bear". Madis on the drums forms the backbone of the band's sound and hails from Estonia, but he now calls Australia home. On the bass is Anton, originally from Kazakhstan, he now enjoys the coffee and almond croissants of Fitzroy. Glyn on guitar was born in the land of OZ but at heart is clearly French due to a passion for butter and arguing.
