Kindred's Thursday afternoon gig series is back! Free live music with a different local artist each week!! This Thursday we're joined by TABATA & HANO (JPN)! Shoji Hano (Drums) A legendary free-improvisation drummer, Shoji Hano has performed with icons including Peter Brötzmann, Derek Bailey, Keiji Haino, and Toshinori Kondo. He continues to collaborate with leading Japanese and international experimental musicians. Mitsuru Tabata (Guitar) A pioneering guitarist in Japan's underground music scene, Mitsuru Tabata is a former member of Boredoms, ZENI GEVA, Acid Mothers Temple, and YBO2. He remains active through numerous bands, improvisational projects, and solo performances. These performers transcend the boundaries of Jazz, Rock, and all other categories, these two masters collide to reveal a new horizon of telepathic improvisation.
