DOORS 6PM // KITCHEN OPENS 6PM // SHOW STARTS 7.30PM Alex Lloyd is celebrating 25 years of his landmark album Watching Angels Mend with three intimate, stripped‑back shows in the Brunswick Artists’ Bar—our cosy, art‑lined local beneath the Brunswick Ballroom. Instead of one big night, Alex is stretching the celebration across three evenings, giving fans multiple chances to catch these special performances up close. Across the run, Alex will revisit songs from Watching Angels Mend and beyond, joined each night by handpicked local special guests from Melbourne’s rich music community. The format is part concert, part hang‑out: expect deep cuts, stories from the road, and the chance to hear these songs the way they were written—up close, with a drink in hand, in a room built for listening. Each show will also feature an in‑conversation segment hosted by Venue Director (and longtime friend of Alex) Will Ewing, digging into the making of Watching Angels Mend, the songs that changed everything, and what 25 years of touring and writing has really looked like. There’ll be time for audience Q&A, as well as live song requests—so if you’ve ever wanted to ask Alex about “Amazing” or hear your favourite track in the most intimate room in Brunswick, this is your moment.
