The iconic Winter Blues Festival in Echuca VIC celebrated its 25th event this year, with over 10,000 people flooding the venues and spaces of the historic town. Not wanting Melbourne to miss out on the action, the Winter Blues Festival is presenting a sideshow of epic blues talent at The Brunswick Ballroom on September 21. Headlining the event is guitar master Lloyd Spiegel with his trio, a man who needs little introduction in Australian Blues circles. He’ll be joined by Bill Barber & The Holding Cell, launching their new album Southern Redemption. This band from Victoria’s Goldfields brings raw Southern‑rock energy and authentic blues rock vibes.
