Sacré bleu! The infamous après-ski straight outta Chamonix hits My Aeon on Aug 1st with a stacked roster of local legends and dreamy décor. The third edition of Dive Bar Disco's annual winter rave party, Le Chalet Discothèque: Troi transports you to an enchanting world of twilight Alpine mountaintops and steamy French chalets. With some of Melbourne's best behind the decks, 2x Funktion-One powered dancefloors, otherworldly décor and lighting, and a half-assed dress code, Le Chalet Discothèque: Trois is a proper rave for audiophiles and aesthetes alike. Skis up. Phones down. PEAK RAVE. Le Deep Powder (upstairs) A snowy journey through winter's deepest depths and highest crystal peaks with low-slung chuggy landscapes and hypnotic grooves. Deep & dubby techno, psychedelic disco, rolling UK garage & breaks. The après-ski heats up with chic club cuts, post-piste peak-time pressure and body-melting basslines. Sleek, cheeky, and chunky house, techno, and electro keep the Chalet rocking and your ass shaking till dawn. Dress Code (optional) Chalet Chic. Think ski goggles, snowflakes, white and glittery, fluffy and furry, Fair Isle knits, Alpine prints, moon boots, ski apparel and accoutrements. Decor Immersive décor by alittle2the_left and Marc Pascal on lasers transforms My Aeon into the glittering snowy landscapes and heaving disco chalets of your imagination. Dive Bar Disco acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation as the Traditional Owners of the land on which we are holding this event. We pay our respects to the Elders past and present. We recognise the important role music and dance plays in sustaining First Nations connection to Country and we are grateful for their custodianship. Accessibility My Aeon has two steps at the front entrance, and a mobile ramp can be provided if required. The main downstairs areas, courtyard and accessible toilets are step-free once inside, with a shallow ramp leading to the courtyard. Accessible and ambulant toilets are located at the back of the toilet block in the courtyard. Please ask bar staff for access to the private toilet.
