Spillway brings you an extra special slice of art-folk-punk pie fresh from Merri Creek Tavern, cooked up out of plastic and weeds by a crazy squid from the swamp of Naarm. Balancing pathos and bathos in the weave of their songwriting, Spillway twists together celtic, black metal, drone, blues, absurdism and unwavering curiosity about this cooked and crazy world through semi-improvised chorus and chaos. Spillway is Alex Pug Williams on vocals and guitar and Camilla Eustance on vocals and viola; sometimes joined by Glynn Urquhart on accordion. Watch out for the squids! We are thrilled to be joined by the mega talented Justin Boyd, songwriter and multi instrumentalist based in Naarm. Inspired by the sounds of the 60s and 70s, they create melodic songs with touches of whimsy and abstraction. Standing room only. Seating provided form people with a disability.
