Sahra returns to Jamsheed Join Laymoon on Friday, June 26 for the third edition of Sahra, an intimate evening of live music and storytelling. At the centre of Sahra are first-time artistic collaborations. Musicians from different cultural and artistic backgrounds come together in newly formed duos and trios to create and perform work developed especially for the night. Expect reimagined songs, original compositions, and unexpected musical conversations unfolding live on stage. Each Sahra creates space for artists to meet across traditions, stories, and sounds. We’re so excited to gather again and share this new edition with you!

About the Host
Laymoon Arts is an organisation dedicated to advancing Arab arts and to exploring their intersections with the many cultures that surround them. It is the creation of six Naarm-based creatives, each deeply connected to their communities and cultures from the Arab-speaking region, and shaped by their rich experiences across it. Collectively, we bring expertise in music, performing arts, visual arts, culinary arts, community building, and not-for-profit leadership. Laymoon (ليمون) means “lemon” in Arabic - a reminder of home, and the burst of flavour, colour, and memory that connects us to our region, our land, and our roots.
