Being the son of the legendary Fairuz, he composed many of her iconic songs and left an indelible mark on Arab culture through his innovative fusion of jazz and Arabic music. Renowned for his sharp social and political commentary, his works reflect the realities of Lebanese society with wit, depth, and honesty. This special evening will place a strong emphasis on his lyrics, with selected texts provided for audience sing-alongs. The concert will also include insightful explanations of the songs and the historical and social contexts in which they were written, offering a rich and immersive homage to his enduring legacy.
