The Kintsugi workshop, Restore through Faith & Art, brings together a century-old Japanese philosophy with the spiritual understanding of Allah (swt) as Al-Jabbar, the mender of all things broken. Kintsugi is the Japanese craft of embracing imperfections and highlighting beauty through golden repair. In this transformative workshop, we will learn to embrace the broken parts inside us and move forward with hope and healing. In this hands-on session, you’ll: - Learn the history and philosophy behind Kintsugi - Practice repairing ceramic pieces using traditional techniques - Create your own unique Kintsugi masterpiece to take home Note* The Kintsugi process will run for 4 hours with a break in between for refreshments and prayers. Whether you’re new to Kintsugi or looking to deepen your skills, this workshop offers a serene space to explore creativity and mindfulness. Audience: open to women and men.
