Grumble Boogie is an aerobic dance class led by performance artist Betty Grumble. A 30 minute dance meditation, heart pump and exercise in Thank You Body. Grumble Boogie is a place to be with our bodies, in joy, in playfulness, warmth and possibility. Grumble Boogie is an open platform class, all levels of movement welcome. Bring water, a towel and wear threads that you can move and feel magical in. Grumble Boogie is open to your access needs. Please reach out for any questions regarding our flow and your access requirements. The space is wheelchair accessible with an access toilet. Grumble Boogie harnesses daggy disco aerobic flow to create movement for release and rejuvenation. Thank You Body! We acknowledge we are meeting and dancing on Aboriginal Country. The Inner West Mutual Aid Market is on at the hall from 9am-2pm. Come and support stall holders and help raise funds for the common fund which is donated to First Nations and Palestinian communities. All funds raised from Grumble Boogie will be donated to the common fund. Tickets are all to the same class offered at different prices (minimum $20) - please give what you can afford. The Mutual Aid Market Inner West is a community run event raising funds for First Nations and Palestinian (both here and in Palestine) communities. The market hosts a range of stalls including fresh food, art, home goods, books, jewellery, henna art, coffee cup readings, kids corner for activities and lots more! We acknowledge that the Mutual Aid Market Inner West is held on the lands of the Gadigal and Wangal peoples of the Darug Nation, the traditional custodians of the Cooks River catchment where Addi Road is located and pay our respects to Ancestors and Elders past and present.
